The two best ranked local mountain biking trails are Strathcona Science Provincial Park & Fort Sask Hidden Gold.

- Cooking Lake - Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area 170 km of trails to explore! Mountain bikes aren't allowed on the equestrian trails but on all hiking trails and roadways. Also lots of great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Ski, Snowboard & Tubing
You can find Sunridge Ski Area right in the River Valley, on the western edge of Strathcona County. The resort offers skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, terrain parks, and skier cross.
Want to have a tonne of fun with 100 of your closest friends? Rent out the Tube Park for $800 for 2 hours! Have a little more spending money? The whole ski hill can be rented for $6000 on Saturday or Sunday evenings from 6pm-9pm. Talk about epic birthday party or corporate employee appreciation!
