Fitness and Wellness

Staying physically active is one of the best ways to age well. It reduces the risk of disease, keeps your muscles and bones strong, improves your mood and is good for your cognitive health.

Regardless of your age, fitness levels or mobility restrictions, we are fortunate to have access to some exceptional fitness and wellness experiences for older adults.

Strathcona County still publishes a Seniors Recreation Guide that you can usually find at the library or community centre.
